Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 August 2026.

Propleft is built by one person and collects as little as it can. This page says exactly what that is. It matches the privacy manifest shipped inside the app, and the two are kept in step deliberately.

Propleft does not track you

Nothing collected here is joined with data from other companies' apps or websites, and nothing is sold or shared with data brokers or advertisers. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracker of any kind in the app.

Using Propleft without an account

Searching addresses and reading property records requires no account and no personal information. Address lookups go to NYC GeoSearch, run by the NYC Department of City Planning; property records come from a database operated for Propleft. Neither is tied to an identity.

What is collected when you sign in

Signing in is optional and only needed to save properties and receive alerts. Propleft uses Sign in with Apple, which means Propleft never sees your password, and sees your email address only if you choose to share it.

DataWhy
Apple ID user identifier Ties your saved properties and alerts to you, so they appear on every device you sign in on. It is an opaque identifier issued by Apple, specific to this app.
Notification device token Stored only if you turn on alerts, so a notification can reach your device. Retired automatically when Apple reports the device is no longer reachable.
Subscription status Which plan is active, so paid features unlock. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and never reach Propleft.
Saved properties and alerts The lots you chose to save or watch. Stored as lot numbers, which are public record.

That is the complete list. No location, no contacts, no photos, no browsing history, no device fingerprint, no advertising identifier.

Where it is stored

On Supabase infrastructure in the United States. Every row is protected by row level security, which means the database itself enforces that you can only read and write your own data — not merely the app asking politely.

Deleting everything

Open the app, go to Account, and choose Delete Account. Your account and everything tied to it — saved properties, alerts, notification tokens, subscription record — are deleted immediately and permanently. There is no waiting period and no copy kept.

Children

Propleft is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Public records

The property information Propleft displays is public record published by the City of New York. Propleft never displays the name of a natural person. Where a lot is held by an entity such as an LLC, corporation or trust, that entity's name is shown, because it is the name the City itself publishes.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the app will say so before the change takes effect.
